Reviews and Ratings
The hotel sits atop the stunning views of Arezzo, offering peace and quiet without feeling too rural. The rooms, though spacious and clean, differ from regular ones only in size. The service is top-notch, addressing any issues promptly and with a friendly demeanor. The location, with beautiful countryside vistas and a pool, is overall delightful, but some maintenance work is needed. Dining takes place in a charming ancient monastery, boasting a great breakfast spread.
After several visits, I can confirm that the rooms are all charming, although they differ in size from very small to quite big. They are well-appointed, very clean, and very quiet, making for a comfortable stay up to a 4-star rating. The friendly and helpful staff provide outstanding service every day, addressing any concerns promptly. However, the location, while offering wonderful views over Arezzo, can be a bit challenging to access and might not be the most convenient for all guests.
Staying at the ancient monastery hotel in Badia was a unique experience with its thick walls and small windows shielding me from the scorching 40-degree summer heat. The room's en-suite was spacious, featuring a double shower and a handy hair dryer. However, the outdated cooling system struggled to keep the room comfortable.
I absolutely loved my stay at this charming hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, even though they were labeled as 'Superior. ' The service was top-notch; Elena, the manager, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location, overlooking the picturesque countryside, was simply breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat. While the dining options were varied and delicious, there were a few maintenance issues that needed attention. Overall, a delightful experience with excellent value for money!
